When creating a loft, SOLIDWORKS creates a set of connectors that represent how the loft profiles line up to each other to determine the shape of the loft feature.

There are more sets of connectors available beyond the default set. While creating/editing the left feature, right-click in the graphics window and choose “Show All Connectors” to reveal all sets of connectors defining the loft shape.

Connectors can be moved. Simply drag a connector point on a loft profile to change the loft shape.
